EasyPost Guard offers everything a shipper needs to protect themselves from the risks of the traditional shipping process. It’s a suite of solutions that helps you protect your packages, customers, and revenue from damage, loss, and theft.
What is the difference between EasyPost Shipping Insurance and USPS Claims for the shipper?
EasyPost Shipping Insurance is optional coverage you purchase through EasyPost to protect packages against damage, loss, or theft.
USPS Claims is an EasyPost service that automates loss and damage claims for USPS shipments covered by USPS’s complimentary $100 insurance on select service levels, including Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express.
What is the difference between USPS Claims and FedEx Claims?
USPS Claims is available to all EasyPost customers and can be accessed and managed through the EasyPost dashboard.
Today, the FedEx Claims program is only available to EasyPost customers on the Enterprise plan. To get started, please reach out to your customer success manager.
How can I access Guard’s solutions?
All EasyPost Guard solutions can be accessed through the EasyPost dashboard. You’ll be able to monitor coverage, claims, and more absolutely code-free. EasyPost Shipping Insurance can also be accessed through the API.
