Our story

A simple idea can revolutionize an industry

It all started with a simple idea back in 2012 to harness the power of technology to simplify shipping. That’s when EasyPost came to life as the first RESTful API for shipping, and we haven’t looked back since.

Having fallen victim to logistics headaches ourselves, we set out to develop a solution that would allow business owners to focus on growth, leaving the complexities of shipping in our hands. We streamlined processes, saving our clients both time and money. And honestly, we’re just getting warmed up.

Jarrett Streebin

Chief Executive Officer

Jarrett founded EasyPost to help online retailers achieve Amazon-level shipping capabilities with the first RESTful API for shipping. Under his leadership, the company has partnered with tens of thousands of enterprises and ships billions of shipments. Prior to founding EasyPost in 2012, he worked at The 451 Group and a family office. Jarrett holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.

T.J. Gallagher

Chief Financial Officer

T.J. has held senior financial roles in both privately held and publicly traded companies in technology, supply chain, and transportation industries over thirty years. His broad range of experience drives his expertise in all aspects of financial management. T.J. holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and advanced degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School) and the University of Chicago. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Josh Lane

Chief Technology Officer

Josh Lane is Chief Technology Officer at EasyPost, where he leads the company’s technology organization and strategy across platform, product, and experience. Prior to becoming CTO, he held several engineering leadership roles at EasyPost. Earlier in his career, Josh worked at Fastly and Engine Yard. His focus is on combining software, data, and artificial intelligence to simplify logistics and advance autonomous shipping systems. Josh holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Ron Justin

Vice President Sales

Ron brings engineering expertise and entrepreneurial experience to EasyPost, with a background spanning national security operations and founding an ecommerce business. He has spent the last five years in sales at EasyPost, helping close several of the company’s largest customers, including a Fortune 5 organization. His technical background and strong understanding of business and logistics enable him to bridge the gap between consultative sales and revenue growth. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Peter Chess

General Counsel

Peter Chess has held senior legal roles in privately held and publicly traded software and technology companies as well as senior roles in private practice over the last fifteen years. Peter has extensive experience in corporate legal affairs, including governance, initial public offerings, M&A transactions, SEC reporting and venture financing. Peter holds his Bachelor of Arts in history from Georgetown University and a J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
